Science with Newcastle Life Science Centre
This year we teamed up with Newcastle’s Life Science Centre to offer an after school science club for children in Year 3 and 4. The club proved very popular with 36 children attending the sessions every week. There was a different theme for each session - animals, soil, skeletons, volcanoes, earthquakes and flood planning.
Thank you to the Science Centre for coming to our school each evening from their base in Newcastle and we hope that this can be the start of a long-term relationship between the centre and our school.
