Attendance

Excellent attendance promotes excellent learning.  We believe attendance is a shared responsibility and we work closely with our families to resolve any difficulties and enable our children to reach their full potential.  For more information please see our Attendance Policy which can be found here.

The school day
We welcome children into school promptly at 8.45am and the school day ends at 3.15pm (6,5 hours each day, 32.5 hours per week).

We love to be creative with our teaching and we change our curriculum frequently, however a typical day’s timetable looks like -
Registration 8.45-9.00
Reading 9.00-9.30
Lesson 9.30-10.15
Assembly 10.15-10.30
Break 10.30-10.45
Lesson 10.45-12.00
Lunch 12.00-1.00
Lesson 1.00-2.15
Break 2.15-2.30
Lesson 2.30-3.15
Years 3 and 4 have the timetable above apart from no afternoon break.

Good attendance is key to every child fulfilling their potential and at Holy Trinity we expect everyone to achieve 96% attendance over the school year.
