Tweed Foundation - River Fish
Nursery, Class 2 and Class 4 all enjoyed a second follow up visit from Patrick Barbour from The Tweed Foundation. Patrick was again up very early, this time to bring to school examples of the types of fish you would find in the River Tweed. The children enjoyed categorising the different types of fish and finding out more about our local river.
Nursery came up with some more questions to keep Patrick on his toes - Do they travel very far? How do the get to sleep at night? Which river are they from? Does anything eat the fish? What do the fish eat?
